The Syrian American Medical Society North East Foundation is comprised of medical and non medical professionals, of Syrian descent, and is a non-profit, non-political charitable organization . As a charitable Foundation, SAMS N.E. Foundation objectives encompass an array of professional, educational, and cultural activities.
Some of our activities are :
1. Encouraging and providing medical aid to needy patients of Syrian descent and to organize donations of medicinal and medical supplies to underprivileged families in North America and Syria.
2. Coordinating donations of routine and emergency medical care in support of those in need in Syria.
3. Providing assistance to medical students and interns of Syrian descent.
4. Sponsoring speakers, textbooks and other learning materials for needy medical students in Syria.
